Project/Office Manager

Location: Berkshire
Salary: Competitive depending on experience and ability

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of the success of a rapidly growing lighting rental company. Specialists in lighting equipment hire and creative lighting design since 1999, Blinding Light has worked with a host of blue chip accountancy, IT and pharmaceutical firms, plus major AV companies and entertainment organisers. Due to continued growth Blinding Light is now looking for a project/office manager to join its business.

The Candidate:
Applicants will have the ability to manage others, have a working knowledge of lighting technology and possess excellent attention to detail. This is a full time role, candidates should be prepared to work evenings and weekends when required and should also possess a full UK driving licence. Successful candidates will be required to travel throughout the UK and occasionally abroad.

Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Project management for installations including collation of relevant information, preparation of CAD drawings, ordering of equipment, risk assessments, organisation of personnel and client liaison.
On-site supervision and /or completion of lighting installations, ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
